Hi, I’m Kait.

I’ve always been interested in what keeps people repeating patterns they already understand—and what finally helps those patterns begin to change.

I also know personally that recognizing a pattern and breaking it are two very different things. It can be frustrating to understand exactly what is happening and still find yourself pulled toward the same reactions, relationships, or choices. Meaningful change often requires more than insight; it takes honesty, patience, practice, and the willingness to respond differently when familiar patterns are activated.

That understanding shapes the way I approach this work. I don’t see clients as problems to solve, and I don’t expect you to change simply because you now understand why something is happening. My role is to help you make sense of what shaped you, notice what is happening in real time, and build the capacity to choose something different.

My role is not to be the expert on your life.

You bring the lived experience. I bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, perspective, and a willingness to be honest with you.

I’ll help you slow things down, notice what may be difficult to see from inside the situation, and explore the beliefs, emotions, and relationship patterns influencing your choices. I may challenge you, but never from a place of judgment or superiority. The goal is not to tell you who to become. It is to help you understand yourself well enough to make more intentional choices.

I value honesty over performance, curiosity over shame, and progress over perfection.

You do not have to arrive with the perfect words. You do not have to make your experiences sound reasonable, organized, or easy to understand. There is room here for contradiction, humor, frustration, grief, uncertainty, and the parts of yourself you may still be figuring out.

I believe some of the most meaningful work happens when we can look at a pattern clearly without reducing you to it.

Supporting clinicians in their growth

In addition to my work as a therapist, I have several years of experience providing individual and group clinical supervision, case consultation, and ongoing feedback to mental-health professionals at different stages of their careers.

I have supported clinicians with case conceptualization, documentation, treatment planning, ethical decision-making, professional boundaries, licensure-related questions, and navigating challenging clinical situations that do not always have one obvious answer.

My experience also includes clinical leadership, staff training, program development, and helping clinicians build confidence in their own judgment and professional identities. I approach supervision and consultation as collaborative spaces where clinicians can think openly, ask difficult questions, strengthen their skills, and develop a clinical voice that feels genuinely their own.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in psychotherapy, clinical supervision, program development, and mental health leadership.

My career has allowed me to work not only with clients, but also with developing and experienced clinicians as they navigate complex cases, strengthen their judgment, and build confidence in their own clinical voices. That broader perspective influences how I approach therapy: thoughtfully, practically, and with attention to both the person and the larger systems affecting their life.
